I suspect most pipe maker like most of us have never seen an active volcano. Abi living near a few regularly active ones has. This what most of them look like. His version reflect that natures shaping. Not surprising possibly considering Abi's last name, then again that may be entirely coincidental.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEither way it's a great looking Volcano with some deep shaping \u0026amp; carving.  It has a clear rivulet (deep craving) around where there bowl joins the base \u0026amp; shank and a 1\/2 rivulet behind that, that is only on the upper part of the shank. The lucite cumberland compliments the bowls staining and shape. The walls are thick at 5\/8' \/ 15 mm.
